This model is suited for two people; the driver’s cabin is connected to the living area. This vehicle is available at a favourable prize. The heavy tyre equipment features a large ground clearance - however, it is not an all terrain vehicle. The large diameter of the rims makes sure that even on bad roads the manner of driving is relatively steady and calm. The motor and the oilpan are protected against stones by a grid of steel. The motor is identical to our larger mobilhome model and is also very reliable at high altitudes. We have abandoned fragile equipment so the camper can also be driven, to some extend, on pistes; so the Carreteral Austral is no problem at all. The set-up of the Iveco Daily City 4x2 is rather basic and kept to a minimum; is consists of a kitchen with stove and sink, a water tank fabricated of stainless steel, a second battery, a fold-out double bed and a lot of storage space. A refrigerator or other additional equipment has to be rented.
